WARNING: "Inside" uses the 'F' word a lot.
On the other hand, it offers something to think about.
It is set in a time much like our own, maybe slightly in the future, and concerns a couple who try to fight the government, the great god 'schedule', and, most of all, the indifference of the population around them. We don't know what life is like for most people in their community, but we do find out that torture is used and mind control is a way of life.
While the author, Ben Payne, says he was interested in the move from idealism to despair as people learn that the world will never measure up to their idea of what life should be, this story the government control is relentless, and there is a reason why people eventually give up.
